My Trip to Cambodia

In 2001, my family and I went to visit our country, Cambodia. When we got to the airport, there were so many people, we couldn't find any of my relatives. We asked the guy who worked at the airport to call my relative's name on the speaker to meet us at the visitor area. When they got there, we went to their house. There wasn't much furniture in it because they didn't have a lot of money. The next day we went to see the biggest temple in the whole country. It's called Angkor Wat. There were a lot of flowers, trees, and waterfalls everywhere. There were a lot of people who came from different states and cities to visit Angkor Wat. If you aren't a native Cambodian, you have to pay $20.00 per person to get into the temple. We didn't have to pay because we know how to speak Khmer very well. When we got inside, we took our time and looked around the temple. There were a lot of old stones and crystal Buddha statues everywhere, but you can't pick them up or bring them with you because they had a lot of cameras everywhere in the temple. That was my favorite part of my trip. If you go to visit my country, make sure that you go to see Angkor Wat. That is the best part of the city. We are very happy that we went to visit our country for the first time since we came to the United States. There were so many beautiful things to see. We will go back someday very soon.
My advice for you is, when you go to visit my country, you need to take at least one month off. There are a lot of places you need to visit. The next step is, you need to bring a lot of money to spend because you might see some things you want to buy and bring for your family members. Please don't give out money to anyone at all, no matter what. Also, if you can't speak the language, make sure you go with someone who knows how to speak the language. When you get to the country, make sure you go to visit Angkor Wat. It is the most beautiful place in the whole city. When you go there, it will take you at least five days to see everything. Please make sure you walk around Angkor Wat and take a lot of pictures.
